Two Years in Paris

Our adventure is over, but feel free to check out all we were able to see and do in our two years in Paris!!!!

Our House is a Very Very Very Fine House...

We finally have a house (it's the one on the right)... pending the signing of the lease....  It's lovely with enough bedrooms to invite friends to stay!! You would even have your own shower- in Stephen's room. We'll clean it of course before you come.... Here are some photos of the small town where we will live in the suburbs.. It's a 15 minute RER ride right into central Paris- very convenient!

The house is less than a year old... We have 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets (separate of course... that's the way they do it here!)  We also have an eat-in kitchen with the washing machine in the kitchen (It's a French thing)no clothes dryer- also a French thing.. but I hope to have that rectified very soon... and a living and dining room...3 bedrooms...2 of them are mine and Steve's- we'll use the second one for an office or when I'm mad at Steve!!! Just kidding!! No closets- as normal here,  but lots of wardrobes for our clothes!!!

In Our Little Town...

So that no weirdos will bother us, I'll not reveal our new town or address by name... Please email one of us to get the 'real' address, and if you know or trust you (most of you) we'll let you know what it is.  If you don't get a reply, take it as a sign....

This is a swan..duh...  The great thing is that I, Teresa, the totally inept photographer took this picture!!

This is the town hall for 'our town.' I'd like to say that it actually leans like that, but I have to admit it might be my picture taking that made it look this way!  ;(

It was Market Day! Yum!  Luckily there's a frozen food store in the town- that's where we'll certainly get all our meals. Those of you who know me, know that I did not get my mother's awesome cooking abilities.

There are lots of parks and other greenery and wildlife in this town!!!  We saw a monkey hanging from a tree in the park.. OK, maybe it wasn't a monkey... But there are birds everywhere, and we saw some guys fishing in the lake.  There are soccer fields and tennis courts... I think we'll like it here!!!!
